Capstone Project
For my capstone project, I interned at the Longmont Theater Company's summer camp program. For three weeks in the summer of 2019, I was a counselor, assistant director, and stage manager for the children's theatre production. This was my first foray into the production side of the business as opposed to the strictly performing side, and it was really valuable in a lot of ways. I learned about how to direct other people, and how to wrangle middle schoolers, to an extent. Through this experience, I learned that there isn't always one set way to accomplish something, and often you need the suggestion or help of others to make a vision succeed. All in all, this was a wonderfully valuable experience, and the things I learned will go with me throughout my whole life.
